I have done our taxes for nearly 40 years, with Turbo Tax for last year and the year before that. For those years, it worked really great and I was sold.

Do not think that you will be able to file your Federal Tax free. The program guides you through the state tax also then will not allow federal filing without paying for state. This was not made clear at the beginning.

I spent days entering in my return into TurboTax online (dozens of dividend reinvestment cost bases, etc.). Almost at completion, a bug prevents me now from logging in to complete the return. There was no way to save my data locally while completing
